Baldi Hot Springs

Wednesday evening we decided to go to the hot springs for a soak. Jose, from Wild Rider, and David from Hotel Bijagua had both recommended Baldi Hot Springs. Baldi is about 5 km fromHotel Bijagua, on the way to Lake Arenal.  We drove up around 5:00 pm, and went immediately to the buffet dinner, which was quite good with chicken, beef, salads and various other foods  there was also pasta (a lot of places in CR seem to feature pasta)  after dinner, we changed into suits and got going with the pools. They have something like 9 pools with trmperatures from the 90s to 120.    One of the hotter pools also had waterfalls (of 116 degree water) cascading down that you could stand under.  Today the least, we were relaxed once we headed back to the hotel around 9:00 pm. No problems sleeping that night!
